Upon completion Wangjing SOHO will be the first high-rise landmark building en route into Beijing proper from the Capital Airport.       SOHO China announces entering a facility agreement with a syndicate of banks for USD 605 million 3-year transferable term loan. The Syndicated Loan will bear interest at the rate being the sum of LIBOR/HIBOR with an interest margin of 3.55% per annum. This is the first Syndicated loan since SOHO China's listing.

      For the first time, SOHO China tests the waters with a first step into e-commerce by joins forces with Sina.com to initiate online sales from a starting price of zero. After fierce competition, two shops in Chaoyangmen SOHO II and Galaxy SOHO are sold for RMB 7.2 million and RMB 12.02 million respectively. Consequently, many real estate developers follow suit to cooperate with online network companies to create online sales platforms, drawing the curtain to introduce a new age of e-commerce in the Chinese real estate industry.

This is SOHO China's sixth project in Shanghai.
